Lunar New Year workshop with Poko Ono

You’re invited to join Deep Dive Studio Artist Poko Ono for a Lunar New Year Workshop.

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, participants will be guided in making red Zhongguojie, or hanging Chinese knots. The knots represent good luck, Longevity and, help to ward off evil spirits as you begin the new year.

Participants will be able to take home their knots, and a minimalist lantern which can be adorned with the Zhongguojie which can be used to decorate entryways for the Chinese Lantern Festival (February 15th). Each participant will also receive a copy of Poko Ono’s zine ‘Glory’.
