Doors open 6:00 PM

Through the exploration of the body, sculpture, and sound, Oriana in collaboration with Experimental Jazz musical Barnabas Bosisto invite to venture into the ShimerVerse, a fictional realm composed of chimeric genotypes made from discarded furniture, glass, beads and organic matter. The chimeras- Oriana’s 'familiars,' serve as otherworldly guides that embody alternate and mystical possibilities, and potential, that are inspired by Afrofuturistic and Diasporic futurisms. The ShimerVerse is a poetic exploration that delves into narratives hidden within societal and cultural gaps. The performance exhibition aims to blur the boundaries of identity and time. By forming and reshaping boundaries through personal and collective experiences, viewers are invited to embrace new possibilities within a unique universe of eclectic beauty.
Seating will be available, audiences are encouraged to bring pillows or a blanket to sit on.

POP Open Studios & Art Fairs
POP hosted our second annual Opens Studios and Art Fair on Saturday 20th April 2024, following a postponement from the 2023 due to inclement weather. We welcomed nine studio and gallery spaces from around Adelaide to Iparityi Lane, and the POP Studio Artists opened their studios to welcome the public through. Expanding on the 2022 Art Fair, we hosted a panel discussion in the gallery, and welcomed an increased audience from previous years. Stall holders reported an increase on sales from our 2022 event, and we grew our audience coming through the gallery.
A big thank you to the City of Port Adelaide Enfield for supporting this event through their grant program.
